About Dr. Rosemary: From "Watch and Wait" to Empowered Action

FOUNDED FOR NO REGRETS

A Doctor with HPV and CIN1

Hi, I’m Dr Rosemary Nyabadza, an Oxford University-trained medical doctor, Master of Public Health, functional medicine practitioner, founder of The HPV Hub, and creator of the Immuni-P supplement range.

But before these credentials, I was a woman navigating a high-risk HPV diagnosis and later, abnormal cervical cell changes (CIN1). If you have received a similar diagnosis, you may be feeling overwhelmed, uncertain, or frustrated by the limited guidance often provided during the “watch and wait” period.

The Wake-Up Call

By my third year of follow-up, my results still showed HPV, and this time abnormal cervical cell changes were identified. I was referred for a colposcopy, and the biopsy confirmed CIN1 (low-grade cervical cell changes).

The recommendation remained the same: continued monitoring through a “watch and wait” approach.

At that point, I made a personal decision to take a more proactive role in understanding my health journey. I knew I wanted to explore evidence-informed ways to support my immune system and overall wellbeing alongside my medical care, rather than simply waiting for future outcomes.

Asking Better Questions

As a clinician, experiencing a personal health challenge led me to explore the research more deeply and ask different questions:

  • How does immune function interact with HPV?
  • What lifestyle and nutritional factors support immune resilience?
  • How can women feel more supported during the monitoring phase?
I explored clinical literature on nutrition, stress, gut health, and immune function, and implemented a structured, evidence-informed approach focused on overall wellness and supportive care.

The Result

At a later follow-up appointment, my results showed a normal outcome and I tested HPV-negative.

This experience reinforced for me how much emotional weight women carry during this process, and how important it is to feel supported, informed, and empowered throughout their health journey.

Why I Created The HPV Hub

I created The HPV Hub and the Immuni-P supplement range because I believe women deserve access to clearer information, emotional support, and evidence-informed tools during a time that often feels uncertain and isolating.

Many women describe feeling disempowered during the “watch and wait” period. My mission is to change that experience by offering education, support, and a more proactive approach to wellbeing alongside routine medical care.

While no supplement or lifestyle change can guarantee outcomes, I believe in supporting the body’s natural systems and helping women feel more informed and supported in their health decisions.

With all good wishes for your healing,

Dr Rosemary
